Connected Elk Grove: A Smart City Plan is a strategic framework that helps the City of Elk Grove to define what it means to be a “smart city”. In its context, being a smart city is an approach and consistent practice rather than an end state, with the ultimate goal of building a thriving economy and providing exceptional services that enhance the quality of life for all residents. The plan is grounded in 3 major pillars:

I was the lead graphic designer for the report. Using the City’s style guidelines, I developed the overall visual structure and hierarchy of the report and designed graphics to visually represent key ideas in the plan.

The plan is published on the City’s website, and it was adopted by City Council in January 2022.
