City and County of Denver Advisory Services
overview
The City and County of Denver’s Department of Public Works (DPW) underwent a restructuring in 2017 to become the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI). Subsequently, the department sought to develop new plans and programs to enhance its transportation service offerings to the public. As part of the process, I supported the development of two deliverables:
A mobility hubs guide to develop the strategy and implementation of the City and County of Denver’s mobility hubs system
A white paper to guide the City and County of Denver’s development of a new transit advertising and public space amenities program
process
For the following deliverables, I was in charge of the following:
Mobility Hubs Guide
Supported the development of the mobility hub site evaluation framework by developing criteria and key benchmarks/thresholds
Supported the design and copyediting of the final deliverable
Public Space Amenities and Advertising White Paper
Conducted a landscape assessment of existing City and County advertising programs and regulations
Researched and analyzed public space amenities and advertising programs in other peer cities in the US (Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Washington DC)
Developed recommendations regarding key components of a new transit advertising program including placement and design, social equity, content and messaging, data standards, procurement, and service level agreements
result
The mobility hubs guide and white paper are being considered by DOTI for implementation.
